Davyd and his team are hardworking magicians that can accomplish nearly any task imaginable. Their finish carpentry/built-in work is top notch and they can build essentially anything you can dream of. We moved into a new home from out of state and asked Davyd to bid several projects. He and his team proved to be incredibly professional, talented, and meticulous. Thank you!Mia H31 January 2026My husband and I recently bought a home with an early 2000s builder grade cutout in the living room and an asymmetrical fireplace that we’ve been wanting to change since we moved in. After talking to a woodworker and other contractors who couldn’t do what we envisioned within our budget, I decided to reach out to Finish Carpenter. Within days of contacting David, we had our EXACT vision for a bookcase and remodeled mantel custom built ready for us to enjoy. We were blown away by the craftsmanship and efficiency. We’re already thinking of other projects for David’s team to help us with in the future.KeithB20 January 2026Eli added a beautiful beam plus tongue and groove pine to our large great room ceiling. His work is high quality. He takes pride in doing it right and making his customers happy. Eli communicated well in the initial planning and also kept me aware of progress. He and his crew were respectful of our home, taking care to cover floors and clean up at the end of each day. The overall experience working with him was excellent. I highly recommend him.Curt Osborne20 October 2025Eli Interiors does amazing work. Every interior door, every inch of baseboard and every inch of casing in the house was replaced. Also, several new exterior windows and doors were trimmed out and a vaulted ceiling was installed in white pine. Every cut is precise and perfect and Eli's attention to detail is unmatched. He also did demolition of our kitchen and his careful attention to detail really paid off there, too. He precisely and carefully demo'd the kitchen. And Eli is just a pleasure to work with. Good humored and smart and, above all, complete honesty and integrity. A rare combination of traits in this business. 100% recommended. Photos show un-carpeted steps -- not in his project.David Takeda13 September 2025Davyd and Finish Carpenter were great. They created two custom built-in bookcases and then I asked them to make three custom jersey cases. They coordinated with other contractors for drywall repair, electrical, and painting. I highly recommend them for your project.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified that these reviews were published on Finish Carpenter's Google Business Profile. Learn more
Custom Built-In Office Desk with Floating Shelves and Cabinets
Homeowners in Parker, Colorado wanted a functional workspace without giving up square footage. Finish Carpenter LLC designed a Built-In Office Desk with floating shelves and cabinets that fits neatly into a nook, turning unused wall space into a full home office.
The build combines white oak and red oak with MDF and plywood for a durable, long-lasting structure. A solid wood countertop serves as the desk surface, offering plenty of room for a monitor, keyboard, and daily paperwork.
Above the desk, two floating oak shelves span the width of the wall. They provide open storage for books, binders, and personal items, while keeping the space visually light and uncluttered. Below, a pair of green cabinets flank the desk. They hide cords, supplies, and equipment behind clean shaker-style doors.
The deep green cabinet color pairs with a matching accent wall, creating a cohesive look that feels more like a design feature than a simple storage solution. Warm oak tones balance the bold green, keeping the nook from feeling too dark or closed in.
This built-in workspace was completed in just 3-4 days. That fast turnaround made it easy for the homeowners to get back to work with minimal disruption.
The result is a compact but highly functional space. It works well for remote business tasks, corporate work, or as a simple household work station. Custom cabinetry like this makes the most of tight spaces without sacrificing style or storage.
For homeowners in Parker and across Colorado, a Built-In Office Desk is a practical way to add a dedicated workspace to any room. Finish Carpenter LLC handles every step, from cabinet construction to shelving and countertop installation, ensuring the final space matches the client's needs and the home's overall design.
