When a returning client came back to Finish Carpenter LLC after a successful built-in and floating shelf project, the team knew exactly how to deliver. The result: a stunning set of custom shaker mudroom cabinets that transforms a functional entryway into an organized, elegant space the whole family can use every day.
The design features four full-height locker-style cabinet columns running floor to ceiling, each fitted with a shaker-style MDF door in a warm greige finish. Upper accent cabinets with round knob hardware sit above each column, while the tall center panels use sleek black bar pulls — creating a cohesive, modern farmhouse look throughout. Every door and drawer features Blum soft-close sliders, ensuring smooth, quiet operation and long-term durability.
At the heart of this entryway storage system is the built-in bench — topped with a beautiful red oak countertop that brings warmth and natural character against the painted cabinetry. Below the bench seat, four generous drawers with black bar pulls offer dedicated storage for shoes, accessories, and everyday essentials, keeping clutter out of sight and off the floor.
