After 20 years, a Highlands Ranch homeowner was ready for a full Kitchen Makeover. Finish Carpenter LLC delivered a complete kitchen remodel, transforming an outdated layout into a warm, functional space built to last.
The design pairs two distinct tones for visual contrast. Tall upper cabinets feature rich, dark wood grain with classic panel doors and hardware. Below, clean white shaker-style drawers and cabinets bring brightness and a more contemporary feel. Black cup pulls tie the two tones together throughout the space.
A custom wood range hood anchors the cooking area, matching the darker upper cabinetry for a cohesive look. Open shelving nearby displays everyday items, adding character without closing off the wall.
The centerpiece of the remodeled kitchen is a large island finished in weathered, reclaimed-style wood. It contrasts beautifully with the light stone countertop on top and provides ample seating for four barstools. The island's paneled base echoes the craftsmanship found throughout the rest of the cabinetry.
Additional built-in storage runs along the perimeter, offering plenty of space for cookware, pantry items, and small appliances. Every cabinet was designed to maximize function while keeping the layout open and easy to navigate.
