The ceiling immediately draws the eye. A larger primary ridge beam runs along the peak, with smaller secondary beams angling down on both sides — following the natural pitch of the vaulted roofline. The result is a classic barn-style silhouette that feels open, warm, and architecturally intentional. Furthermore, the natural grain of Select Alder adds texture and warmth that painted drywall simply cannot match.
Custom Storage Cabinetry with Trash Enclosure: Built for Guests
Along the interior walls, custom-built cabinets give pool visitors a dedicated space to store towels, change clothes, and keep the area organized. Additionally, one cabinet unit features a discreet built-in trash enclosure with a ventilated cutout — keeping the space tidy without sacrificing visual consistency. Every cabinet was built to the same finish as the ceiling, maintaining a cohesive material palette throughout.
Hand-Washing & Utility Station: Practical Meets Polished
The project also includes a purpose-built hand-washing station — practical for post-swim cleanup or warming up a quick snack. Rather than a standard utility sink, this area was finished with the same level of care as the rest of the space, ensuring nothing feels like an afterthought.
