Thank you!Mia H31 January 2026My husband and I recently bought a home with an early 2000s builder grade cutout in the living room and an asymmetrical fireplace that we’ve been wanting to change since we moved in. After talking to a woodworker and other contractors who couldn’t do what we envisioned within our budget, I decided to reach out to Finish Carpenter. Within days of contacting David, we had our EXACT vision for a bookcase and remodeled mantel custom built ready for us to enjoy. We were blown away by the craftsmanship and efficiency. We’re already thinking of other projects for David’s team to help us with in the future.KeithB20 January 2026Eli added a beautiful beam plus tongue and groove pine to our large great room ceiling. His work is high quality. He takes pride in doing it right and making his customers happy. Eli communicated well in the initial planning and also kept me aware of progress. He and his crew were respectful of our home, taking care to cover floors and clean up at the end of each day. The overall experience working with him was excellent. I highly recommend him.Curt Osborne20 October 2025Eli Interiors does amazing work. Every interior door, every inch of baseboard and every inch of casing in the house was replaced. Also, several new exterior windows and doors were trimmed out and a vaulted ceiling was installed in white pine. Every cut is precise and perfect and Eli's attention to detail is unmatched. He also did demolition of our kitchen and his careful attention to detail really paid off there, too. He precisely and carefully demo'd the kitchen. And Eli is just a pleasure to work with. Good humored and smart and, above all, complete honesty and integrity. A rare combination of traits in this business. 100% recommended. Photos show un-carpeted steps -- not in his project.David Takeda13 September 2025Davyd and Finish Carpenter were great. They created two custom built-in bookcases and then I asked them to make three custom jersey cases. They coordinated with other contractors for drywall repair, electrical, and painting. I highly recommend them for your project.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified that these reviews were published on Finish Carpenter's Google Business Profile. Learn more
Pool House Custom Woodwork & Cabinetry
A pool house serves guests every day — and to do that well, it needs to be both functional and well-finished. This Pool House Custom Woodwork project in Littleton, Colorado brought together three distinct scopes of work under one roof: barn-style vaulted ceiling beams, custom visitor storage cabinetry, and a hand-washing station — all built from Select Alder and completed in 4 to 5 days.
Barn-Style Vaulted Ceiling Beams: Structure as a Statement
The ceiling immediately draws the eye. A larger primary ridge beam runs along the peak, with smaller secondary beams angling down on both sides — following the natural pitch of the vaulted roofline. The result is a classic barn-style silhouette that feels open, warm, and architecturally intentional. Furthermore, the natural grain of Select Alder adds texture and warmth that painted drywall simply cannot match.
Custom Storage Cabinetry with Trash Enclosure: Built for Guests
Along the interior walls, custom-built cabinets give pool visitors a dedicated space to store towels, change clothes, and keep the area organized. Additionally, one cabinet unit features a discreet built-in trash enclosure with a ventilated cutout — keeping the space tidy without sacrificing visual consistency. Every cabinet was built to the same finish as the ceiling, maintaining a cohesive material palette throughout.
Hand-Washing & Utility Station: Practical Meets Polished
The project also includes a purpose-built hand-washing station — practical for post-swim cleanup or warming up a quick snack. Rather than a standard utility sink, this area was finished with the same level of care as the rest of the space, ensuring nothing feels like an afterthought.
The Result
In summary, this custom pool house carpentry project transformed a raw utility structure into a guest-ready space — warm, organized, and finished to the same standard as the main home.
